It is confirmed, the well-known Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas will finally open new exclusive high-stakes poker room named after the Full Tilt Poker sponsored pro and multiple WSOP bracelet winner, Phil Ivey. On May 21 and 22, the casino will finally make available its “Ivey Room”.

Aria Resort and Casino might have also woefully waited for the time when finally the new room can be introduced to everyone and so now that the time has come the casino wants to celebrate by having a special $1 million invitational freeroll.

Yes, a huge freeroll can be enjoyed as well by players. Registration for this freeroll indeed on May 22 will be in the Deuce Lounge at Aria Resort.

The freeroll will grant champ a chance to play a heads-up match vs. Phil Ivey for the $250,000 prize. While it will give the next best in second place $70,000, in third $40,000, in fourth $35,000, in fifth $25,000, in sixth $15,000, in seventh $10,000 and in eighth $5,000. And all these prizes will be in Aria promotional chips.

The heads-up match vs. Phil Ivey will take place in the new exclusive high-stakes poker room. And aside from the heads-up prize, there will be a $100,000 bounty on Ivey’s head and $200,000 combined bounties on other popular pros invited.

Aria Resort and Casino will actually open the doors of the new poker room on May 21. And according to Aria officials it will be available to the general public. Also, it will be used to host limit games of $1,000/$2,000 and up and No Limit games beginning at $200/$400.
