In a new proposal, a senator in Pennsylvania is thinking about legalizing gambling. They must add table games with the slot-machines if it is legalized. Sen.Tommy Tomlinson feels that Pennsylvania is going through a really bad budget crisis. If gambling is legalized, it would help Pennsylvania out in a lot of ways.

Once the casinos add the tables in, they would only have to pay a onetime fee, and then they must pay their taxes when they do. That’s another thing that would help out the state.

$27.9 billion will be going towards the casinos because of the new plan, and $200 million of it will be going towards the tables to make sure that all of the tables are up to date and that they have plenty of workers at the tables. The tax on the table games would be 12 percent, and that is really a low cost considering how much money will be put into them by the players.

There is talk from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board that the table games will be ready in about six to nine months after they pass the law. They can not do anything right now until they make it legal, but once they do, they plan on jumping into action and making sure that things are done the right way.

There is a lot of pressure on this casino. People will be watching them to see if this does help the state out a lot or if it causes them nothing but trouble. This could open up doors in other states if it does well, but if it does not go over as planned, many won’t consider making gambling legal in their state.

When this passes, they might even be opening up some more casinos in Pennsylvania but it all depends on how this goes and what happens. Things might change, and they might back down on the plan because that is something that has happened in the past.

If this becomes legal in Pennsylvania, it would mean that there would not only be jobs offered at the tables, but other jobs at many other casinos would open up. This will be bringing in a lot of money to the casinos in Pennsylvania and even more so when the tables get put in. Many of the casino customers play the tables, and they are famous throughout the state.

Everyone is hoping that this passes because once it does pass and the tables are put in, they will be going over to their local casino to play.
