The general manager of Hollywood Slots, Jon Johnson, will be leaving his job with the slots. People are surprised because he has been general manager of the slots for a very long time. They feel that it won’t be the same without him there.

Jon Johnson was the first manager of the slots, which opened in 2005 and he has been working hard there ever since. He won’t be leaving his job until Sept 28th and doesn’t plan on leaving any unfinished business.

Jon Johnson will be training the assistant general manager, Steve Lambert, and he will be taking his place as the new general manager. Johnson has a lot of faith in Lambert, and he has watched him for a while now. He feels that he will do a good job as manager and has the skills required for the job. Not only that, but Jon has a lot of trust in Steve. Steve has never let him down and has always been there, plus he has helped support him when times were tough.

If you think that Jon Johnson will be without a job and just doing this to relax and take some time off, think again. He is leaving this job to take on another job that will be at the Empress Casino Hotel, located in Joliet, III. He will be getting more money with this new job, among other things. The benefits are better, and he feels that it will pay off. He will miss working at his old job, but sometimes a change is good, and he feels that is what he needs.

Even though Jon Johnson is training Steve Lambert to be the new manager, it is not for certain that he will actually be named the new manager in the end. Hollywood Slots has yet to name who will be the new manager, and they have not made it official that he will be, but it looks like he has a high chance of being the one. Their decision will probably depend on how he does while he is being trained. They might not announce anything until Jon Johnson leaves.

Whoever takes Jon Johnson’s place will have a lot on his plate because there will be a lot expected out of him. They will expect him to be just like Jon Johnson was, or similar. So if he doesn’t live up to their expectations, there is no telling whether that person will stay.

Hollywood Slots does not have any ill will towards Jon Johnson. They are happy for him and hope that he does well with his new job. People will miss him, but he deserves only the best because he has proven to be an excellent manager over the years, and they can understand why he wants a change.
