GamblingYes, Party Gaming and MGM in Las Vegas will possibly form a partnership and this will most likely benefit everyone who is into gambling. High power individuals from two casinos gathered in a meeting just recently in Las Vegas and tried to talk about the good things the partnership may bring.

Monday, Party Gaming CEO Jim Ryan met with MGM Mirage CEO Jim Murren, Palms President George Maloof, WMS Industries CEO Brian Gamache, slot machine manufacturers, International Game Technology Chairman Phil Satre, N9NE Restaurant and Nightclub Group CEO Michael Morton, Top Rank President Todd duBoef, Jack Binion, and Chuck Mathewson. It happened at a session at The Playboy Club at the top of Palms Las Vegas. The session was hosted by the Las Vegas-based Union Gaming Group.

At the meeting, a lot of topics were seriously discussed. Without a doubt, many got very interested about the future of online gambling. There were also many listeners to the discussion about one of the hot topics then, something that was about the reality that online gaming companies like Party Gaming can actually provide land-based casinos far better player data and customer tracking.

“It’s far deeper than that”, Ryan explained. And he added, “We utilize technology for e-commerce and can capture player information on a far better scale. We can see ourselves becoming partners with traditional casinos”.

The discussion on the topic regarding UIGEA pulled in so many listeners as well. The UIGEA is a gambling ban and has been in active implementation since the administration of Bush.

Ryan gave a very notable opinion regarding UIGEA implying that he can’t believe completely that the US government is just allowing taxable dollars to just slip away. And he said, “I just don’t understand why the American Gaming Association hasn’t gotten behind the Frank bill, or any bill supporting Internet gaming, for that matter”.
