Not everyone may be aware why online gambling is still illegal in most states even at this point. Well actually the reason is, legislators still believe that online gambling must not be legalized because of problem gambling. Legislators are indeed still hesitant to give their approval to the legalization of online gambling because they are concerned that people may actually be addicted to online gambling and eventually face financial and social crisis.
However, according to some reports, legislators have been actually open to any possible process or device, or rather we say any possible solution to problem gambling. Legislators will most likely consider making online gambling as something legal if only a solution to problem gambling is known or introduced.
And now, probably a good news for everyone, a device of Techlink Entertainment called Gameplan is being marketed as possible solution to problem gambling.
“Three independent research firms, two Canadian and one from Las Vegas, agreed that our product has a positive impact on gambling behavior,” Techlink Entertainment President and CEO John Xidos said. “Providing players with the right information and tools is critical in helping them gamble responsibly.”
Gameplan was created then to actually cater services to Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation or simply known as NSGC specifically through the selected video lottery terminals or better known as VLTs. But it was created indeed to empower people to gamble responsibly on the VLTs.
Now it seems that there is possible solution to problem gambling that actually has been causing trouble to legislators, there is this device of Techlink Entertainment called Gameplan. But naturally, this device must still be introduced first to legislators. It might still be a long way for all those who want online gambling be legalized. But then the old saying “patience is a virtue” is just applicable in this regard.
