Even the Las Vegas casinos like The Venetian and The Palazzo also adopted the said technology. They are also willing to allow their players to bet from inside the casino on a handheld device such as an iPhone. They don’t mind their players wagering even a game is being played.
The new technology was developed by Cantor Gaming. Basically, it allows players to bet on well-loved sports such as baseball, football, basketball, tennis and even horse racing from inside the casino on a something like an iPhone. It allows wireless betting.
The said technology also contain casino games such as baccarat and blackjack. They can play a casino game and then in a moment place wagers on certain sporting events. It is something so helpful to players who are fond of playing casino games and then betting. It makes it easier for them to do both, but most especially to do the latter even more.
“Having this technology changes the entire equation for everyone involved,” said M Resort Spa Casino CEO Anthony A. Marnell III. And to explain it further he said, “all of a sudden, these same people who were betting once or twice a game at the beginning of a sporting event can place wagers every minute if they want”.
The technology allows bets to be placed by use of a wireless device and still can work it out to credit them the same way as regular bets are being credited. It will just have to store the bets on the casino servers for transmission. But of course, they are considered as something like “electronic credits”.
More casinos might adopt the said technology as well. It is an advanced technology that makes wireless betting possible, for most gambling firms, it is most likely a must-have.
