Yes, The Venetian’s MegaJackpot was finally won and it was this 78-year-old retired physical education and dance teacher who won it. The lady was actually just visiting Las Vegas then, she was with her daughter but eventually decided to play the game at The Venetian which indeed gave her the much-chased $4,141,909. The lady said that prior to winning the MegaJackpot at The Venetian, the biggest she had won on a slot machine was only $600.
“My actual birthday is January 13th. When we get home to Oswego, New York, then we’ll have a big party. This is hard to believe. In fact, I first thought I had won $4,000 until a casino host told me I had won the jackpot”, said the lady who never gave her name.
It was early evening when the lady arrived at The Venetian and tried the penny machine. She played for some time but then left to meet her daughter. However, she returned to The Venetian and to the same machine played around $40. She then hit the MegaJackpot and was really surprised for being so lucky.
“I’m going to pay off my car and then talk about the rest of the winnings with my five children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren”, the lady added.
